Slam Media Lab teamed with CJAM Consulting to design a new website that is as thoughtful, accessible, and impactful as their work with arts and nonprofit communities. Together, we built a digital home that celebrates CJAM’s mission and brings their story to life online.
CJAM’s website and brand were overdue for a refresh—it lacked the vibrancy, movement, and modern feel that their work truly embodies. From colors and fonts to the overall design direction, the site didn’t reflect CJAM’s values, solutions, or the communities they serve. We came in, understood their vision, and built a site alive with the energy, clarity, and purpose that CJAM brings to every project.
One that doesn’t just look good but feels like CJAM—vibrant, professional, and packed with purpose? We knew the site had to do more than show services; it needed to tell a story, spotlight their clients, and create an immersive experience that would keep visitors engaged and inspired. The color palette for CJAM was selected with intention, blending creativity, sophistication, and professionalism. The warm white provides a clean, approachable backdrop, symbolizing clarity and trustworthiness, while the natural green speaks to CJAM’s commitment to growth, sustainability, and balance—qualities essential to their work in institutional project planning. Deep purple adds a layer of sophistication and creativity, evoking innovation and forward-thinking approaches that reflect CJAM’s dynamic practices. Finally, navy grounds the design, conveying professionalism and authority, especially on client and case study pages where CJAM’s reliability and expertise shine.
Starting with the homepage, we wanted to make a strong, immersive first impression. We introduced a smooth fade-in animation on page load, gradually revealing photographs from CJAM’s diverse client base. Paired with a subtle parallax scroll effect, this gives the images a sense of floating upward as the user scrolls, creating a captivating experience that pulls them further into CJAM’s world. The “Clients” page takes this further with scroll-based animations, moving images from the bottom up to give a gallery-like feel, focusing attention on CJAM’s impact. Finally, on the Services page, a horizontal scrolling carousel showcases CJAM’s client work and daily operations, adding a touch of professionalism and flow.
Each service page, testimonial, and case study is designed to stand on its own, so if visitors land on any page, it grabs their attention and highlights CJAM’s work immediately. This interconnected structure strengthens SEO by building an internal link network across the site, making it easy for users and search engines alike to discover CJAM’s full range of services. We also used assets from CJAM’s clients, featuring case studies on multiple pages to keep their real-world impact front and center.
